The Junior Strings Program is for students between the ages of 7-14 who have played violin, viola, cello or bass for at least one year. Classes will take place each morning from 9:00-12:00.
New applicants must schedule an audition or submit an audition video via our online application form for acceptance into the program.
The program will feature string orchestra, group lessons, music games and daily mini-concerts by the YES Academy faculty.
Teachers will include Kim Mai Nguyen and Avery Waite and Cassandra Bequary.
Participants will be placed in either the Junior or Intermediate level according to age and ability after a short audition on the first day of class. Please be prepared to bring one short solo on the first day.
