John Angelo Cramer is a professional violinist, innovator, and personal and business transformation leader. John received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and a minor in German from Illinois State University. Throughout John’s professional career as a violinist, he has performed as soloist, chamber musician, orchestra player and concertmaster for various performing arts organizations in the U.S. and abroad.
John spent four seasons as the Associate Concertmaster of the Stadttheater Symphony Orchestra in Giessen, Germany and was also the Associate Concertmaster at the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, Colorado in 1984. Since returning to Houston, John has performed with the Houston Grand Opera Orchestra, the Houston Symphony, the Houston Ballet Orchestra, and the Houston Pops. Most recently, John spent six seasons as the Concertmaster of the orchestra at Opera in the Heights, a regional opera company based in Houston. In 2011, John taught violin and chamber music at the YES Academy in Amman, Jordan. Alongside music John has led a parallel career as an innovator and business organization effectiveness leader. John is Founder and Chief Transformation Catalyst of Radical Insight Inc., a consulting firm which helps organizations unleash their creativity, innovation, and human potential to adapt and thrive in complex and turbulent environments. He spent nineteen years in healthcare transformation and his expertise includes process improvement, strategic planning, leadership development, and team building. John is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Organization Development at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. |
