The Classical Voice program is taught by Prof. Ira Spaulding of City College of New York and is designed for solo singers enrolled in or aspiring to study at the College, Conservatory or University level either in Lebanon or abroad. The program will provide training in vocal styles ranging from opera and oratorio to art song and Broadway Musical Theater.
The four-hour program will be divided into two parts with the first part dedicated to the study of vocal technique, Art Song, Oratorio and Vocal Ensemble with Prof. Ira Spaulding. The final two hours will be devoted to studying Opera arias, duets and scenes with soprano Christine Moore of New York City. In addition, private lessons, coachings and career and study advising sessions can be scheduled with both faculty members.
Students may participate in the following activities:

Healthy Singing – group technique class
Masterclasses in interpretation and style
Vocal ensemble
Vocal chamber music and art songs with piano
Guided listening of great classical, musical theater and jazz vocalists
