The Advanced piano program is a program designed for advanced piano students ages 15+ who want to improve their pianistic skills and explore traditional and new repertoire as well as engage in new musical activities such as vocal accompaniment and chamber music with other pianists or with string players. New students must schedule an audition or send audition files when applying.
Students may participate in the following activities:
Private lessons in a group setting
Masterclasses
Piano ensembles (4-hand, two pianos)
Piano literature class and guided listening in traditional and alternative repertoire – composers and repertoire from the Unites States, Asia, France, etc
Career coaching sessions for advanced students
Chamber music with instrumental students
Piano Pedagogy for groups or private teaching
Optional participation as accompanist in the classical voice program
